About Me
Nursing has never just been a career for me—it’s been a calling.
For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I’ve learned that great nursing is about more than clinical skills. It’s about listening, building trust, educating families, advocating for patients, and treating every person with dignity and compassion.
Most recently, my role as a nurse became deeply personal when my husband, Matt, underwent emergency quintuple bypass surgery. Caring for him during his recovery reminded me what families experience every day—the uncertainty, the exhaustion, the countless questions, and the comfort that comes from having a knowledgeable nurse by your side. That experience strengthened my passion for helping others recover safely and confidently at home.
Outside of nursing, I’ve also had the honor of serving as a high school girls’ soccer goalkeeper coach. Coaching has taught me the importance of leadership, encouragement, patience, and helping others believe in themselves. Watching young athletes grow both on and off the field has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
